Janice's Story

Growing up in a New Orleans family with eight siblings She always felt loved and supported. Her family is very engaging and supportive of each other. Her parents were not rich, nor were they middle class, but they were rich with love. These humble beginnings molded her into the person she is today.

She believes everyone can become their best with support and encouragement. She has learned that as a Social Worker, they are facilitators. They give individuals the resources they need and explain the consequences of their decisions, but it's always their decision to make. She enjoys assisting others to reaching their full potential, but what she most enjoys is seeing the transformation in individuals. She feels indebted to helping the families of New Orleans, because she knows that she is helping her family as well.
